Linkedin Banner & Profile Picture

• Linkedin recommends the banner size to be 1,584 X 396px
• Your banner can include blurbs or bullets about your success or the product/service you offer. If you’re a sales expert, your banner can include an impressive credential, but also include the types of results you help your customers get after working with you. 

“But wait, I’m not a designer, how can I design a banner?” 

You don’t need some fancy design software to do this, you can use Canva app, and it’s free. Your other option is to use Fiverr and pay a free lancer $5-$10 to design you one.

• The ideal Linkedin profile picture size is 400 x 400 pixels.
• Choose a picture that only focuses on your face. You can include shoulders as well, but not knees and toes. Remember, while people are scrolling through their feed, your picture is only a small thumbnail so make it stand out.
• Smile in the photo. This draws attention to the fact that you’re friendly and easy to work with.

• TIP: Make your profile picture pop and edit your photos and add a green or red outline around the shape of the photo to stand out. Below is an example of my profile picture:
